Nix the Light Drake from Bad Dragon was my first experience with any fantasy toys. I had been aware of the company for a long time, but only recently aware that they sold penetrable toys. Why did I choose Nix? As I’ve probably mentioned before, picking out a toy should be based on two things:
1. Does it provide a promise of a unique and novel experience?
2. Do you want to stick your dick in it?
For me, this Light Drake fit both criteria fairly quickly when I was browsing the products. I had so many questions and was so excited to get them answered. Was it worth buying a sex toy without a sexy anime girl on the box art? How is the material going to feel? What’s the deal with that tail? The answers to these questions and more coming right up after these images.
Because toys from Bad Dragon are straight from the manufacturer and not through a third-party retail space, the packaging is rather simple. The toy itself comes in a closed plastic bag with some packing paper keeping it safe inside the standard shipping box. Inside the box is also a couple of cool stickers and a promotional thank-you pamphlet.
I was surprised at how Nix felt when I first got my hands on her. Bad Dragon has various firmness levels for its toys and even offers a sample disk set so you can make a tactile-informed decision before pulling the trigger on something more pricey. However, all the masturbator toys only come in “extra soft” firmness which isn’t a part of that sample disk set. That was s lightly disappointing as a first-time buyer, but I’ve never had that as an option to begin with so not much lost there. Nix is a lot softer than what I was imagining silicone to be. At the same time, I have never had any worry about distorting or losing her shape.
Cleaning Nix is fairly easy with her open-back design. Because of that and the silicone material, it’s pretty easy to reach everywhere with soap and water as well as being significantly easier to dry out.
Using my favorite water-based lube, I was able to have my first experience with Nix. While it’s definitely possible to pull the tail up a bit and take her in what would be considered doggy-style, I don’t believe it’s made with that intent. She feels best to me when we were belly-to-belly. It feels nice having a dimpled line in her tail leading me straight towards her snug entrance . . . and what an entrance it is.
The feeling of Nix’s tunnel and entrance is insanely snug and feels amazing. This does come at a cost. You cannot simply laze around and casually stroke yourself with Nix. No, this Light Drake demands to be properly taken. No half-masting while searching for just the right video or media. I need to give her my full effort to get the most out of her experience . . . and it’s absolutely worth it.
I have purchased quite a few more fantasy toys since Nix. I believe Nix the Light Drake still feels the best overall. The other ones are amazing; I will cover them in future reviews. Something about Nix is just magical. Maybe it’s her unique fantasy hip shape and design that stands out against the standard “orifice + hand-holding tube” design of her sibling toys. Maybe it’s her tail that guides me in and hits my balls with just a right amount of pressure when I use her body right. Maybe she just complements my shape and style that well. It could be any of it. I do know that if you’re looking at getting yourself a Light Drake named Nix, you won’t be disappointed.
